What is better Mcafee or Norton for anti-virus software?

Neither, they are both pretty useless, i would personally recomend AVG free for anti virus and Zone Alarm as a firewall.

I use these and they work a treat, just search for them in google.

trust me, the computer geeks all agree that AVG is he best, foret about thos crappy mcafees and norton. THere has been testsre pc - proving it is the best

its free, and wont overtake youre pc. Go to filehippo.com a super quick download.

I know it sounds like im doing an advert, but i have had to sort pcs out a lot in my time, and i think i know what im talking about

To be truthful..neither..

Norton is so invasive and, ends up causing more problems than wild elephants in a china shop. Macfee is alittle better but, for nearly the same money you can obtain a hugely better AV program..Take a look at"

1.bitdefender

2.NOD32

3. Kaspersky

Here's a link to give you some ideas~

When you're ready to install the new program, do a search on Yahoo Answers for the proper method of uninstalling the old one and, installing the new. :)

Good Luck~
Do not instal mc afee if you already have a norton program there is a known problem between them.Norton is a heavy program that can slow you down and cause other problems.A lot of people use either and swear by them, but have they experimented and tried the others,i think not.AVG FREE and WINDOWS DEFENDER are about the two best all round totally compatable programs, with spybot a close third.Do not install AD AWARE it can have a fatal system error and you cannot uninstall it without a special program. This is a well known problem on the forums and blogs.
I have moved to Kaspersky Internet Security at a fraction of the price. They have UK help numbers and an understandable manual. Available at Costco.
Avast is better than the two of them put together and you could add AVG in just for good measure.
