I installed AVG anti-virus on my windows 2000 PC. I already have McAfee After restarting, the PC won`t boot to windows anymore. Not even safe mode. It just keeps restarting. I think there`s a conflict between the two anti-virus software and that`s maybe why the computer won`t boot into windows.... anyone know how I can solve this? Thanks!

Sometimes when you get a virus, the virus attacks your operating system. You get to the point where you see the beginning of windows, but that's as far as it goes. If that is the case, most at that point will have to go to their local tech and recover their data and re-load the operating system-generally about $99. If you cannot see windows at all, you may have a more serious problem with your bios or mother board. Based on what you describe, it appears you received a virus and while trying to remove it, it was able to complete the mission given by the creator of the virus. Other than that, you should be OK.

Reboot press f8 on startup and select from text menu Last Known good or working configuration.

do not install more than one antivirus. some of them fight each-other and make a mess ;)
