I would recomend you check with your Internet provider first. AOL and Comcast offer McAfee for its members for free. ATT has it for premium users. Your provider might provide McAfee for free too.

McAfee and Norton are the best when it comes to ease of use, quick updates, and best interfaces.

AVG is great because it is free and has an automatic updater.
