A retail price between 500 - 700 Rs for end-users is economical enough, or should it be cheaper.
Whats the best price one would happily by a "Made in India" anti-virus software for PCs?triumph
you could try quickheal (quickheal.co.in), it works well and it might just fit your budget. It has all the features that mcafee, norton etc will give but at half the cost AND it's 100% Made In India. However, for using its recovery disk you will have to have original os license.

It would depend entirely on the reputation of the software.
Why will one go on to buy anti-viruses, when there are so many free ones available that are effective? And if at all someone will buy, then why won't he invest a bit more money to get sure-shot virus protection like Kaspersky or BitDefender? Unless your anti-virus is sort of super-effective, it is hard to gain market share.
sorry yaar...with the budget u r mentioning u will be looking 4 a log,long,long,long time...i'd say extend u r budget and buy Kaspersky internet security or NOD32
