I used to have ntl netguard but it changed to virgin, will it work on windows vista? If not when will it work on vista? And until it does is there any other free anti virus stuff to download? A norton free trial came with my laptop, is it any good?
Virgin Netguard on Vista? If no any Vista anti virus free downloadable software?? Or is the norton trial good?trojan
The NTL/Virgin software in my opinion isn't worth it in the first place so this'll be a good change. ; ) Virgin most likely do not support Vista yet, as no 'main' ISPs do, if you have a problem that you know doesn't relate to Vista do not mention your O/s as they will use every excuse possible to blame Vista and not look for a solution.
Avast is a great anti-virus, free with the option to upgrade but I've never felt the need to beyond gratitute.

You can download avast for free. it is better than norton and it alerts you on screen if you have a virus or any other potential threat. Have a look and you will see it just has to be downloaded. I use it and it self updates and everything. Youll love it
Seriously don't get Vista, I have it and there is still ALOT of flaws in it. I would stick with norton or mcafee with virus protection. I don't trust anything else.
I have a Gateway tablet pc running Windows Vista Premium.
