I have cleared my hardware, downloaded software for the anti-viruses, and I'm still getting pop

My computer is showing popups stating I have a Trojan virus, but how can that be when I have downloaded anti-virus software on my computer. This is very annoying and frustrating, what can I do??

anti virus programs can only detect the name of a trojan virus. If you have its exact name you can download manual removal instructions and in some cases specially designed free removal tool for that particular trojan virus

here is one tool try it

(but it will only be effective for the type of trojan virus mentioned in it)

Here is a complete list of free tools available from symantec

You will need to disable system restore option, as trojan information gets copied in restored files, thus the computer can be affected again when you run system restore. After that you will need to boot the computer in safe mode and then run the virus scans (using your antivirus program)

This is the way you have to run the scans when it is a trojan

the link below explains it in more detail
