When I use my AVG anti-virus software the firewall refuses to activate. I get the message that an error occured in starting the firewall because the timeout period expired (1460). What does that mean please? Thanks.
AVG Anti-Virus?security
Timeout period is the amount of time a program is given to access the internet. IF you get that error message it most likely means AVG is trying to access the internet but it cant for some reason so check to make sure your internet connection is working properly and also check to make sure the windows firewall is off.
AVG Anti-Virus?trojan
Did you download the evaluation software? If so, it's complaining about the software being expired, as in past the free-b period.
what firewall r u using?
check ur avg security settings and make sure neither of those programs are from a shady site
Are you using the free version?...I have two firewalls installed on my computer and the free version runs fine...you can get it at:
