Is it very difficult to uninstall AVAST anti-virus from the computer?

Friends, I was thinking of downloading the free edition of an anti-virus software for my laptop? One of my friend told me that AVAST is the best free anti-virus software available today and its light-weight too, but it is really difficult to uninstall it if you want to and to uninstall it, one has to get an uninstaller software available free at the official AVAST website. Anyone who is using AVAST, can you please tell me is it really that difficult to uninstall AVAST?

avast is a great program, I have used it for years, there is an uninstaller for free at their site but to be honest with you? perhaps you wont want to uninstall it after its loaded as its small fast and effective.... cheers~

i tried avg Norton MC daffey, AVG, etc and can and have easily got passed every one of them in less than 90 seconds in testing. great protection LOL NOT... besides they clutter up hdd and unnecessarily tax system resources... cheers~

well using a antivirus is a difficult choice to make , but if u are AVAST then there is no problem , u can use a program known as "you uninstaller 2007" to uninstall any unneeded software from your PC and rest please chk pcmag.com to know which A/V is on the Top and then decide to install ir

Did not like Avast interface and decided to try other free antivirus programs:

I like: AVG Antivirus and Comodo Antivirus
Sometimes it麓s not possible to uninstall avast! the standard way - using the ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS in control panel. In this case, you can use our uninstallation utility aswClear.
