aside from using anti virus or anti malware like the people all said, try using Mozilla Firefox, it's a browser that is really good and gives you a safe web browsing. Or you may just wanna change your internet settings and block popups.

I am sure know this already. In your internet explorer, click Tools%26gt;Internet Options...%26gt;click the Privacy tab%26gt; and then below, check the Block Pop-ups checkbox. Explore the settings, by clicking the Settings... button.

I prefer AVG and its free. You also need a good spyware program such as Lavasoft Ad-Aware, its also free. Do you have a popup blocker on?
