I would like to load an Anti Virus software (Norton, Mcafee...etc) on my Personal PC and, hence, would like to know the best one in the market.

i like Mcafee if you are going to buy one it has never failed me yet and it does not slow your computer down like Norton.Now if you want a free virus scanner go to www.avast.com and get the avast for home it is free I do use this virus scanner on 5 other computers in my house because it is free and it works real good to but on my main computer I run Mcafee.
norton is the best, mecafe suks i got hacked plenty of times and it notices like 3 hours l8ter
A recent issue of Consumer Reports rated anti-virus software. There were some names at the top of the list of which I had not heard. I do not have convenient access to that issue at this time, but I suggest that you try to seek it out.
Trend Micro has a great product for anti-virus called PC-cillin. It does a great job and does not use a lot of resources. Great for anyone but even better for laptops that may be underpowered.
