Help i need a good virus protection software?

right know i have Norton, but it is a trial and expires tommorow. do you know good virus protection that lasts for life, i don't want subsribtions that only last a while, or do yoyu alway's have to renew?

well i need a good anti virus software that will be good for my computer.

it is an hp entertainment laptop

250GB hardrive orginally but goes down, i don't know why heard because of norton

2GB of DDR2 memory

I use AVG, Ad-Aware and Spybot Search and Destroy. It is always good to have a mixture of programs because while none are perfect, you can keep your system clean with a few. The ones I use are all free.
