My company is installing new servers and a new network on 2003 SBS (several sites, about 50 users). I need to figure out what anti-virus software to use on both servers %26 clients. I would think Norton is best, but I heard there have been a lot of problems with it. Any ideas?

Norton Corporate can be a bit tricky to install if you've had another version of Norton installed before. This is the only instance I can think of where installing it has caused me issues. Otherwise once you get over the initial installation, Norton Corporate is no muss, no fuss. It runs in the background so your users will never know it's operating (unless they intercept a virus and the client software is configured to show a prompt). My only real complaint with the actual operation of the software is how much of a memory hog the client can be when it's running a full system scan. Unless you've got a decent processor (any P4 and higher) and decent memory (at least half a gig), the slowdown is noticable.

Norton certainly has a name fo itself however many would say it using this program is an "over-kill" and bogs the network down.
