Do you think it would be a good idea to install anti virus software on a ps3 for browsing the net?

If you have it on you computer that you set the internet connection up with you should have no problem, you should have an encryption code (if you have a router) so noone should be able to access your system anyway

Unless theres some evil xbox-fanboy running around specifically writing a virus for the PS3... you wont need an anti-virus (There isnt one anyway afaik - the ps3 wont run most viruses as they are written for a PC)

You might need a linux anti virus if you set your ps3 to run it, but again, the virus scene on linux machines is a lot smaller than on microsoft OS systems.
