How can i stop annoying anti-virus pop ups whenever i connect to the internet?

I have Anti-Virus software and Anti-Spyware software on my pc, i even use pop-up blockers. I have run numerous checks with both and even though it says my pc is fine i still get the pop-ups.

These are the ones that start with one of the small grey windows alert boxes saying that my computer may be at risk and once i click cancel, it opens a webpage that says my computer is at risk and i should download the "latest edition" of some sort of anti-virus and stuff. All things i do not need.

It is getting very annoying, and i just want it to stop.........

PLEASE HELP...........

Install anti-adware or anti-spyware. This is usually common. But if you are annoyed, try getting rid of it through anti-adware or anti-spyware

check your registry.

most likely you have some of the standard malware junk on there.
install

ccleaner (with 2 cs)
